The SFVM is a beautiful tribute to our military, including active duty, veteran, and those lost in battle. Definitely a must-see as one of the best memorials in the upper Midwest!

This place is meaningful to me because my mother grew up playing in this area. Also, we have several family veterans who are honored with their names in the memorial walkway. Soldiers Field is a Rochester landmark.

We always enjoy a walk on the grounds of the memorial. Lots of history there with a park, golf course and swimming pool all in the same area.

We enjoy walking around the Veterans Memorial. Being a veteran myself it means a lot to me to have places like this to visit and enjoy.

We were in Rochester for Rochesterfest and met relatives at the memorial. My family is from this area and I had a couple of my relative's names on the memorial. What a wonderful memorial!

Take the time to read all of the inscriptions on this marvelous memorial. It is a history lesson in and of itself. War is not good, and it is oftentimes unnecessary, but we do have a history of being involved in such events and, just...More
