Out in the country experience the out of doors on the patio or under the big gazebo or relax inside by the big picturesque windows. Wine tastings, or have a glass of your favorite and maybe a cheese/fruit/cracker plate and/or a bread and oils plate. Just a great place.

Went to this winery while visiting my daughter in Minnesota. It was out in the country outside of Rochester. A nice little dog walked us to the door! They had seating outside on a deck. We sat inside at a table overlooking the vineyard. We did the wine tasting. The server brought it to our table and explained each wine... More

My girlfriend and I stopped in over Labor Day weekend to visit. I've been to Salem Glen before and frankly didn't care for the wines. This visit, the wine was quite nice. Venue is great for relaxing. There were few folks there so it was quiet and we were able to enjoy the sunset with our glass. We also ordered... More

Awesome cheese and fruit tray with our choice of wine. If they had been selling the cheese , we would have bought that to take home too!

My girlfriend & I along with our husbands went to help out with picking the grapes in the fall of the year. It was fun! Afterwards enjoyed a light lunch on the patio. Also sampled some of their delicious wine!

We had to go to Rochester for a family member's appt at the Mayo Clinic. We needed a restful, peaceful retreat from the stress of the trip. This was a perfect diversion! A short 15 min drive from our hotel, but felt like a million miles away! Jackie was a great host for our wine testing experience. My husband and... More

Beautiful setting, nice facility, great hospitality. Wines were good, and we found one to take home, but not spectacular. Would be a great venue for a small gathering. Definitely worth the drive.

The first Minnesota winery we've ever visited. Is it possible to make first-rate wines from hardy grapes that can thrive in this climate? Their answer: resoundingly yes! Salem Glen is what we've come to expect in a vineyard. Off in the outskirts, a little driving down gravel roads, livestock and deer to watch on the way. Once there you're greeted... More

Delicious white wines from dry to sweet. I really enjoyed them. Its not far from Rochester at all, but far enough its quiet and peaceful. The reds were ok as well.
