We LOVE the fair! Fun foods, plenty to do, full barns, lots of browsing (grandstand, merchandise mart), great music (lots of it free) and the best people-watching around. We visit it at least twice every year. Both my husband and I were in 4-H, so...More

I have never been here before- boy was I missing out on an experience! The food alone was insane. No way to eat your way thru in one day. Probably a better idea is to plan on multiple days to take it all in. Easy...More

Such a unique fair to attend. I recommend getting there early to beat some of the crowds as the day goes on there is just too many people to enjoy it. When we attended there was around 250,000 people alot packed into a small area....More

Once in every 10 years is enough for me. Very expensive for pretty ordinary food. Not to my liking! It seems to be popular with some folks!

What a fabulous State Fair. Not to be missed...and you can't see it all in one day so plan to go back! Busses provide transportation from park'n'ride lots nearby. Enjoy the food and sights. People watching is the best.

You can get to University and Snelling on the light rail and then take a bus to the Snelling Avenue entrance of the Fairgrounds. During the Fair, the bus runs VERY often.
