Good place for a day visit

Good time for a day. Not the biggest park but nice and clean. Good kids running the concessions. Lacking in shows for quantity and quality, but the rides are good.

We purchased the fright lane passes for the second year in a row. It was fun and full of thrills. The downfall were the lines, even in the fright (fast) lane, were excruciatingly long. The haunted houses and attractions were the same as the previous year. We won't be back next year. It costs too much to see the same... More

Local MN guy here and go to this amusement park offten with my kids. It is a very clean park with tons of rides, roller coasters, games. It lacks "entertainment" *singing, dancing shows, like 6 Flags has, etc. They have a GREAT waterpark, so in the hot summer months you will love that. It is included with admission. The last... More

I have taken the family to Valleyfair almost once every other year for the past ten years. Each time the experience was fantastic and has become a family destination. Especially when we are looking for an inexpensive family weekend. The prices are not as high as the larger theme parks and not as crowded. Wait times for rides are reasonable... More

None of the attractions were even remotely scary.... Unless you were a 5 year old. Thank god we have season passes cuz if I would have paid $40 for that I would have been pissed. Save your money... Go somewhere else.

We attended the Valley'Scare' event a few years ago and had a blast. This year, however, there weren't many zombies and monsters running around, and most of the haunted mazes weren't scary at all. The make-up jobs were poorly done. They also sell "no-boo" necklaces for people to wear. They light up and let the staff know not to scare... More

Valleyfair is best for older kids or at least kids that are willing to go on the rollercoasters. If you are looking for rides for younger, less adventurous kids, I highly recommend NIckelodeon Universe at the Mall of America. Nick Universe has a better variety of younger kid rides in my opinion and still has some pretty adventurous rides. I... More

We enjoyed the event. Lines about 50 min for all the major rides tonight. The costumes of the staff wandering the trails added flavor to the event.

Two carloads of family members enjoyed being frightened at this amusement park. It was a 10 year anniversary haunt. Our favorite was Mr. Cleaver's Bloodshed. Long lines everywhere but most moved quickly. Longest lines at Berserkers, which turns out to be the lamest maze of all.
