So glad we made a point to stop here to see what we could photograph while vacationing along Lake Superior! When we arrived at the falls, the sun was shining low causing a rainbow from the mist at the base of the waterfall. It was...More

very nice state park. We hiked the Superior Hiking Trail from HWY-1 to Raven Rock. With a very nice stop at the High Falls along the way. Highly recommend this section of the trail.

the hall falls were gorgeous. The trails were clean and maintained (some a bit rough to hike). The park office is new and beautiful with lots of great gifts in the gift shop and plenty of clean restroom facilities.

This hike is relatively easy, though there is a bit of up and down. The waterfall is nice, but it was rather crowded there and on the trail.

We love hiking out to the Cascades! We try to hike it every time we're in the area. It's a lot of stairs, and often harrowing as there are areas of the trail that get washed out or very muddy, but it is always an...More
