Fun to watch the lift bridge go up and down allowing boats to pass under. There is a very nice walkway near the bridge. The river views are gorgeous! Sometime next year the bridge will be open for pedestrians to walk over. Can't wait!

We went to Stillwater to cross the Lift Bridge. Our GPS did not know bridge was closed to all traffic. It has been replaced by the new beautiful bridge a mile away. We used Google maps to navigate to Stillwater. The bridge is closed to...More

A nice piece of history, watching it lift for a boat never gets old, take it in while there are still cool, old lift bridges around.

We love snapping photos near and on the lift bridge and I actually haul out my SLR camera for it! Pair the visit with a town festival, such as the Fall Fest with free music, booths, kids games, and giant pumpkins. The kids will love...More

This is a great place to share a little history with the kids or grand children. Grounds are clean & peaceful. It was not crowded while we were there !

I'm not sure - we were visiting and I think the new bridge is outside of the downtown area.
