St. Michael's Catholic Church is so uniquely beautiful -- simply a one of a kind design -- the one hundred year old stained-glass and circular "shell-shaped" constuction is breathtaking !!! The congregation so warm and inviting -- truly a spiritual experience from beginning to end....More

St. Michael’s Catholic Church is one of the most architecturally intriguing structures on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and stunning to see. It reminds me a bit of the architecture of the Mississippi Coast Coliseum (just a few miles to the west, but built 10 years...More

One of the great survivors of Katriina . Sustained little damage and was still when I visited in 09!

I was disappointed I could not get inside. I wish they could open the church for visitors, but I understand the problems.

Unique Church with local history ties. It is beautifully done. It is a bit echoish and was hard for me to hear but I'd still say go check it out and enjoy a service one Sunday.

The best time to visit the interior is when the church opens the doors before the service or you wait until after the service.
