This small True Blue Jazz Club at Red’s Lounge clarksdale is a place no music lovers should miss. This rundown building that only serves beer has plenty of atmosphere, and talent. Terry harmonica Bean played and spoke about the history of the blues. How religion...More

Great place to hear real Blues Music in Clarksdale! Slightly divey but that's what makes it a great Blues club!

Love this small bar. Prices are reasonable. Only sold beer when we were there, so not sure if that is the norm. Usually only open at night. Great music scene and friendly staff

One of the last great and authentic “juke joints”, Reds is a must go stop for anyone in or near Clarksdale. While it looks permanently closed from the outside, the inside comes alive with music on the weekends and weeknights when there is a festival...More

The real deal for Blues Music. Casual, funky and down home authentic! Great music every evening. We loved being part of the scene just by being there! Thanks Gillian

I can't say the venue or the band was anything mind-blowing or very different to other small music venues and social clubs I've been to. There were just a few locals and a dozen or so tourists (a few more arrived later on), on a...More

What can we say about Red's that hasnt already been said? If you drive by while its closed you'll think its permanent condition. The inside is a hot mess and a little scary if you're into sanitation and tidyness. The music and the people, though...More

Agree with the other commenters -- Cat Head is the best source of information regarding Red's (and, for that matter, almost anything else regarding Clarksdale). You'll find them at cathead biz. And if you don't see what... More

Probably depends on the teenager. It is a little rough around the edges, but I would have taken mine when they were in their teens.
