We visited on a Monday around 11:30 and had our pick of tables. Atmosphere was wonderful, seated next to an old fashioned soda fountain. Service was prompt and very friendly. My turkey and swiss melt was delicious and hubby had a cheeseburger. We ordered a...More

My wife and I went in to enjoy lunch. We don't go very often and I know why. Kids were running everywhere, could not enjoy our meal and when we go to pay the bill was outrageous for a slug burger and milkshake. The slug...More

Went early in the day and everyone in the store greeted us and passed the time of day. This included the staff and customers. I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger cooked the special way I like them. My burger was perfect! Exactly as I ordered. It...More

You park on street. Saturday before noon was not a problem. This place has a decent amount of seating, but get there early...before noon...and you should ok. Fast, friendly service. Plenty on the menu to consider, but you can't go wrong with the cheeseburger. Grilled...More

More a burger joint than a drug store. One of the best burgers ever. Thin patties cooked on a hot flat top so they have the crunchy carmalized pieces outside. Great fat to meat ratio so they are juicey. Fresh tomato, onion, and lettuce. Don't...More

This little place downtown is always packed and for a good reason. It is still a functional drug store but you can also get a great milkshake or malt, some really good burgers, or stop by the jelly bean machine with tons of choices. There's...More

They have the best milk shake in town. Will fill you glass up and bring the remains for you to finish off. Have a good slug burger as well.

Borroum’s Drug is the oldest continually operated drug store with the ‘counter service’ dining the main feature for visitors. Classic American diner food plus a “slug burger” available to try as well. Always go for lunch when in the area.

What an interesting place! This place was established as a pharmacy in 1865 and is still operational with the granddaughter of the original owner as the pharmacist. She is 92 years old! We had a fabulous lunch which included a patty melt and onion rings....More
