This is a wonderful and beautiful park. It has full hookups for your motor home, a historic cemetery and buildings, plus a wonderful view of the Mississippi River. There is also a pavilion and small church in the park. All this just down the road...More

very nice park to camp. went after tornado came through. we were not charged for the museum because of damage. the museum was incredible with neat artifacts. the lady there was very informative and nicest person to meet. there is a whole village out back...More

We visited the week after a tornado had gone through the park. We were told upfront and our entrance fees reduced. The park is lovely, even with certain areas closed from damage and flooding. The park staff work hard to maintain the buildings and grounds....More

An important part of the Vicksburg campaign. And a surprise on our trip. Would suggest trim trimming the trees to allow a more historical view from the battery and view of point of rocks

Several people showed up in RV's when we were there. There's a very small parking lot when you first turn in, but the staff was very friendly and came out to direct people on where they SHOULD park if in an RV...
