Mississippi State University is a pretty walkable college campus that doesn't dominate Starkville. The athletic venues for football, baseball, basketball and soccer are all on the same part of campus almost in a row. There's a great campus dining facility, a good bookstore and a store that sells agricultural products like cheese, honey, steak and sausage that comes from MSU... More

Campus is beautiful. People are extremely friendly and helpful. Buildings are well maintained. Sports facilities are amazing. Fun place to go. Would be great place for kids to go to school.

I am a student (online) so I am a bit biased, but I love Mississippi State. I will make sure that my grandchildren go here.

Daughter is a junior at MSU and I am sad that when she graduates, my trips to Starkville will be less frequent. Family vibe everywhere I've been, plenty of lodging and dining options in town (not like the rumors report) and there is even an MSU Cheese Store! Plus it is a gorgeous place. They take care of my happy... More

Whether your on campus for an event or just want a place to picnic and fish, you'll never be disappointed. Love how family based the university and sporting events of all types are. Make sure you join the Hail State Rewards and the Bully's Kids Clubs. You'll never miss out! Do your research. There are often tours to take and... More

Ive been a student at MSU for three years now. The campus is beautiful. If you're here checking out he school for the first time, make sure you check out the bell tower, the chapel of memories, the drill field, and the junction. It's also worth noting that MSU is an EXTREMELY walkable and bikeable campus. Sidewalks and bike paths... More

I love this school. If you're looking for a large university with a small town feel; then this is a place you want to consider.

Still a beautiful campus with open spaces for walking, picnicking or just having a quiet chat. Beautifully kept. A star for the landscape architecture department. Love the friendly ambience. Still one of my favorite campuses.

My wife and I spent the night in Starkville in order to watch the Lady Bulldogs' nationally ranked basketballers play an SEC game. Really pretty walk around campus with visits to the U.S. Grant Presidential Library, beautiful Montgomery Hall, and the Wade Clock Museum. Templeton Music Museum is on my radar for our next visit.

Very beautiful campus. The campus is very clean and there is a lot of history. Family member attends college there and would not want her to attend any other school. Hail State!!!
