The building itself is great. This was the old railroad depot back when the trains Camevto Bay St Louis from New Orleans every few hours. People spent the weekends in the Bay. Lots of historical information and ideas about where to go and what to see

This was a nice place to visit to learn more about the Stennis Space Center. There were also many pamphlets and magazines that showed nearby attractions. We had a little picnic there as well.

Nice Welcome Center. Room for kids to run. Pretty building. Easy access. They have really nice picnic areas, so it's a good place to take a break and have a picnic.

We will stop in again. You need to stop in for a personal account of what is new here. We visited many places of interest that has not come back. Stairs to nowhere. Driveways with no houses.

It was such a relief to find a clean, safe, spacious, beautiful rest stop for our family trip. The kids loved the lunar lander and the beautiful center. Very friendly staff and free maps and resources. We wish we had rest stops like this in our state!

There is soooo much space around the outskirts of the rest area, away from people and the main buildings that you can let your dog run around far away from everyone and rest under one of the many many huge trees....on your way back to the parking lot, there are little spigots along the sidewalk to cool your doggie off... The welcome center houses a train museum. Everything free and a really good exhibit expecially the old photos and engine. The volunteers can provide everything one needs on a visit to the area from restaurants to motels and attractions. The place to visit first. Right near downtown about 1 mile off the freeway.
