The story of the Waverley is really something else. Head over for a tour and step back in time. This is a great couples activity for an hour or two if you're talkative. The Snow family loves to show their unique and historic home. Ask...More

The history of this home is wonderful. It is still family owned and operated. Great stories of the life of this house and the families that lived and are currently living there. The antiques are amazing!

If you enjoy beautifully restored mansions with a learned tour guide who begins immediately on your arrival, then visit this 1852 gem. Architecture is stunning and well worth the short drive between Columbus and West Point, MS.

The place was perfect for a wedding. Did a great job of catering even if it was raining cats and dogs. Wedding party was able to play golf and lodging was great.

My husband and I had a wonderful visit at Waverley Mansion and really enjoyed meeting Ms. Snow. It was the perfect mixture of shabby grandeur and homeyness, and Ms. Snow had good knowledge of the history and architecture of the house.

A Southern Gem that left me charmed by its history and mesmerized by its ghostly residents. Haunted!

The front of the mansion has just been repainted. Mr. Snow turned 89 and still does most of the yardwork himself. He does an amazing job. People who appreciate all that he and his family have done to save and preserve this national treasure have formed "Friends of Waverley Mansion" (see Facebook) to raise money for its upkeep.
