A highlight of the Silver Dollar City theme park, this constantly evolving wet limestone cave under the Ozark Mountains, dating back to the 1500s, provides a one-hour tour of fascinating rooms and passageways. The cave's entryway is the largest in the U.S.

Every time my family goes to Silver Dollar City we always go through the cave. The hardest part for my kids are the stairs going down to the cave. Every person in our group enjoys the tour each time we go.

It is the original tourist attraction that turned into a major one. The cave is worth the wait to get in. Be ready to climb stairs.

Although there is an additional fee to tour the cave once inside Silver Dollar City it is well worth it. The guides are knowledgeable and entertaining. You might need a light jacket even on the most sweltering days. The formations in the cave are breathtaking,...More

I'm sorry, but I don't know. They have a Lantern Light Tour that can start as early as 4:30pm (depending on when the park close, sometimes it's 5:30), so they might stop the regular tours before that particular one starts... More

If you mean accessible for those with limited mobility, unfortunately not. You must be able to go up and down fairly steep steps, through narrow spaces, around formations, etc. We held onto railings most of the time during... More

You can actually get into the cave for free. The cave is not owned by SDC. It is owned by Lake of the Ozarks college. You can do some paperwork and get in for free only the cave not the theme park.
