A highlight of the Silver Dollar City theme park, this constantly evolving wet limestone cave under the Ozark Mountains, dating back to the 1500s, provides a one-hour tour of fascinating rooms and passageways. The cave's entryway is the largest in the U.S.

This cave was awesome. You have to be in very good shape to tour it though. You go down, down, down. There were 700 stairs going down and up. So beautiful down there. Worth the exercise.

Not really that much different than other caves but need to be in good shape because of all the stairs and some crapped spaces.

Marvel Cave has been attracting the curious and adventurous for well over a century. Even after all the bat guano had been mined, people just couldn't stay away from the place. It was so popular in the 50's that the Herschend family started building attractions...More

It was a lot of stairs and ducking, but worth the hour long trip. the tour guide was funny and when all the lights were turned off it was completely dark.

I didn't think I would make this journey, but I did. Honestly, it sounds a lot worse than it is. I have a heart condition and did it along with my husband and two year old child.

The Marvel Cave tour was amazing! I was nervous at first because they kind of scare you (they have to) by telling you how strenuous and long the tour is. You just have to be aware of what you're getting yourself into. The guide was...More

I'm sorry, but I don't know. They have a Lantern Light Tour that can start as early as 4:30pm (depending on when the park close, sometimes it's 5:30), so they might stop the regular tours before that particular one starts... More

You can actually get into the cave for free. The cave is not owned by SDC. It is owned by Lake of the Ozarks college. You can do some paperwork and get in for free only the cave not the theme park.
