Preserving the documents and artifacts of the Powers family is just the beginning. Powers Museum brings in many great travelling exhibits, quilt shows, etc. as well as being a great resource for historians and genealogy buffs.

Was a lovely place to stop off and visit and get out of the heat for a while. The staff were really friendly and had lots to tell you about the displays and the area. They were really interested in their museum and it showed, it was lovely to be part of that.

It was small but interesting. Actually enjoyed the tiny gift shop the most. It had unique items that were educational links to history. I bought several for the grandchildren.

Went to visit and was surprised to see it locked up tight.

Yes, museum undergoing major HVAC and other rennovations that have been delayed due to circumstances beyond museum's control. Anticipated late June opening. Website & notice on door explains circumstances. Museum also not open on Sundays even when open for normal business except one Sunday per month with special programming. More
