Just minutes from Columbia, Rock Bridge Memorial State Park gives visitors the chance to scramble, hike and bicycle through a scenic environment – and lets them peek into Missouri’s underworld. The park contains some of the most popular hiking trails in the state and also offers solitude while hiking in the Gans Creek Wild Area. Visitors can also see a large cave system with its rock bridge, sinkholes, a spring and underground stream at the Devil's Icebox. You can explore Connor's Cave in the light of the opening for a taste of the underground world.

Decided to take family for a walk to Devil's Icebox while they were visiting in August for the eclipse. The walk can be steep at times, but very rewarding at the end. The kids loved the cave and the adults loved the cool-down.

Most state parks I've visited are well keep with tolerable out houses. Not this place! All, including the men's, we're so filthy they were unusable. This is not only my opinion but also a few others who walked in and immediately turned around. Another bummer...More

My wife and I love to hike and bike. Rock Bridge is great hiking. It provides nice rock trails and a very nice wooden trail that leads to Devil's Icebox. There are a lot of photo opportunities on all of these trails. Bring your flashlights...More

This park offered nice hiking trails and cave tours. It was very crowded but definitely worth the stop.

We went on a hike over the weekend. There were 5 adults and 7 children (ages 12-3). It was a easy hike everyone had fun and no accidents. The "cave" was fun for the boys to explore. This is a fun family day. The bathrooms...More

Living not far from the park maybe I'm biased but there's really a little something for everyone here. There are tons of trails and of course the highlight is the mostly boardwalk trail to Devil's Icebox. Very popular and a must-see for nature lovers or...More

There are campgrounds in the Columbia area but none in the immediate vicinity of RBSP.
