Overview
More
Blumenhof Winery is located in the charming village of Dutzow, Missouri, the oldest permanent German settlement west of the Mississippi River, nestled in the rolling foothills of the Ozark Mountains. Blumenhof is open every day year-round, closed only on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. They invite you enjoy the spacious patio in the warmer months, and the enclosed heated deck when it is colder, or come inside the Tasting Room to sit by the fireplace. Blumenhof offers free live entertainment every weekend, with the Brat Haus Grill open on weekends during Spring, Summer and Autumn. Blumenhof is a small, family-owned winery, with three generations of the Blumenberg family involved in producing award-winning wines. All of their wines are made from locally-grown grapes, the majority of which are grown by the Blumenberg family. They have won numerous Best of Class awards in regional and international competitions, including the 2011 Governor's Cup for Best Wine in Missouri. Thirty minutes from Chesterfield, less than an hour from St. Louis, just seven miles from Augusta - feel free to pack a picnic basket and head out to Blumenhof. The friendly and good-looking staff await your arrival.

Beautiful and relaxing setting. Very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable staff! Wine slushy was out of this world on a hot day after riding a bike on the Katy Trail! Free wine tasting!

We have been coming out to Blumenhoff Winery for at least 20 years and I am happy to say it has remained the same friendly, inviting place it has always been. So many others do not allow you to even bring your own water in...More

Lovely setting with the friendliest of employees. Great patio area for dining and sipping and get this, one of the few places allowing free tastings. We bought several bottles to take home but will return for some patio time soon.

Good wine, a quaint comfortable setting and a firendly staff made my visit quite enjoyable. They allow picnic baskets and serve food at reasonable prices.

With over 100 wineries operating in Missouri, many just opening in the past few years the competition is high. What sets this winery apart is that for 30 years they have operated as a "real" winery. They grow their grapes locally and make their own...More

I simply LOVE Blumenhof. Been coming here for years and have watched it grow into an amazing winery. So grateful they have not forgotten their roots and continue to allow customers to bring their own food. Most of the wineries do NOT allow this. However,...More

What a rare treasure! Really wonderful wines and cheese in a relaxed and beautiful setting! Such an educational and friendly host, and an area where we didn't have much trouble pulling in and turning around our 21' travel trailer.

Blumenhof Winery doesn't necessarily have the very best view along the highway 94 Wine Corridor but it does have the best wines! Mark and his staff have established an atmosphere of such open this and friendliness that it is impossible to resist. They have great...More

One of the many alone RT 94 but one of the most quaint. Nestled in the trees in a great setting. Small inside, not a big open bar like most wineries. The stall was very knowledgeable and and a joy to talk with. Only wish...More
