Our time at the Wolf Center was not only educational but very enjoyable. Although, enclosed in large compounds, the staff has attempted to keep everything natural for the animals. There was wide variety of wolves. I would lobe to go back for a couple of their different tours, especially the Wolf Howl campfire at night. A very enjoyable outing.

I took my "little" (Big Brothers Big Sisters) sister here on one of our outings and we had a blast. (She's 10.) It was a rainy night so I was afraid they were going to cancel it, but they had an indoor area set up with a fake fire. The volunteer showed us the various wolf pelts and talked about... More

Thank you so much for visiting us, we're so happy you had a great time on our howl! Our wolves don't howl on every event because we like to keep them as wild as possible, so you are very lucky to have gotten such a great response! My 12 year old granddaughter and I visited. The guide (I think his name was Ken) was very knowledgeable and his passion for the wolves and the environment was impressive. The experience is well described on the web site: the walk is a little more than a mile, outside, and tour reservations are required. The wolves and other canines are... More

We took our Girl Scout Junior troop here for a tour. They loved it. The tour guide was extremely helpful and had a lot of knowledge of the wolves. Well worth the visit!

My Cub Scout Pack visits the Endangered Wolf Center every other year. (On the off year we go to the World Bird Sanctuary nearby.) This year we did the Paws on the Path presentation which started with a classroom session discussing the animals at the Center and what it means to be 'endangered.' We then visited various enclosures to view... More

We had an awesome tour with Jeremy. It was very educational and the animals were beautiful. This place does great things to help reserve these animals. This is a great place to go and experience no matter what age you are.

Attended an Australian Painted Dog event with a group of photographers. Very nice facility and they take very good care of their guests. We were up close but safe. Hoping to go back soon and see some wolves.

The first part of this tour is informational, hosted in the gift shop area, and includes a presentation by a guide, as well as the 'passing of the pelts'. While I enjoyed it immensely, since he debunked many myths about wolves, this part is pretty extensive (45 mins - 1hr) and I don't recommend for kids or fidget-y teens. Our... More

Thank you so much for visiting our center! It sounds like you came during the best and most underrated time of the year-- breeding season! The animals get very active and noisy around this time and we're happy you could experience it. Our classroom can be extensive-- we are trying to consistently keep them at 30 minutes for the enjoyment... More
