Better Than Ted's!

Yes, I said it! Better than Ted Drewes and way more convenient. No crazy long lines. Nice variety of options and friendly staff.Try it, you'll be glad you did.

was not impressed, prices seemed high and portions small compared to other ice cream places, would not recommend

So many yummy choices to choose from. Fun seating in the tunnel for the kids w/ cool colored lights.

The frozen custard is good, albeit expensive, but the treatment I received from the owner was shocking. We had family in town in August 2015 and decided to take them to spooners. I paid for the frozen custard with cash, and was shorted $1 in change. I mentioned this to the young man at the window and the owner was... More

Excellent option for a bit of dessert. Outside or inside dining. Loved everything about it except it's a bit off the beaten path

The custard itself is delicious. Nothing extraordinary or creativity flavored, fairly priced & good service. Cute building, but no view (there is nothing noteworthy to see in Eureka). Not the best location because when eating there, sometimes a sewer smell can waft through.

Eureka doesn't have a lot of choices for ice cream. Culvers sells it, but if you want to go to an 'ice cream place', Spooners is pretty much the only option! That being said, it's pretty good! The prices is reasonable, ice cream is about 3-4 dollars for a sundae or a mixer. The custard itself is good! There is... More

I'm still dreaming and longing for more of this awesome custard! Other custard chains just don't come close. Spooner's is the best and they are all natural too!

Great custard and I have heard of friends comparing it to Tedd Drewes or stating that it was better then that. I would disagree but I currently live 2 blocks from Tedd Drewes and am quite faithful to St. Louis staples though I lived near Spooners for a few years. Very fun summer hangout for custard and hanging out with... More

I took my family to Spooners today. Three small sundaes - and I mean small ( maybe one scoop on custard) was $11.82. If the product was great or the place something remotely special the price might have been acceptable - Neither was the case! There are wonderful ice cream places in the area and the premier frozen custard in... More
