Consider Purina Farms your personal pet place! Located on more than 300 acres of rolling hills right outside of St. Louis, Purina Farms, home to the Visitor Center and the Purina Event Center, offers guests of all ages an opportunity to get up close and personal with barnyard animals and performing pets at the Visitor Center as well as distinguished purebred dogs and pedigreed cats at the Purina Event Center. Families will find lots of FREE activities at the Visitor Center including a hayloft play area, cow-milking demonstrations, tractor-drawn wagon rides and exciting canine performances of flying disc, agility and diving dog that feature rescued dogs from around the country. Educational exhibits and hands-on activities teach kids about responsible pet care, the history of Purina and the process for making pet food. Visitors can also browse unique items in the Purina Farms gift shop and enjoy a snack at the concession stand. At select times throughout the year, Purina Farms hosts holiday-themed special events including the annual Springtime Village in March or April where we welcome all of our baby animals to the world and then Haunted Hayloft in October. Purina Farms is also the place to go for memorable birthday parties that include kids’ meals, customized cupcakes and special recognition for the birthday boy or girl during the daily canine performances. Admission and parking are FREE unless when noted. The Visitor Center is open seasonally mid-March through mid-November, but closed all major Holidays.

At the Purina Event Center, a state-of-the-art indoor facility designed to host a variety of canine and feline competitions from conformation shows to performance trials such as obedience, agility and flyball, spectators can witness some of the most prestigious dog and cat events in the country year-round.

Purina Farms is a bit of an amusement park with animals. It's not a zoo, as you get to interact directly with the animals. The dog show was fascinating. My kids could watch it several times in a row. The cow milking was educational, as was petting the baby animals. For my family, this isn't an 'all day' visit, but very fun for 1-2 hours. They have concessions available as well.

We had a lot of fun. We loved the dog show the music was fun and the dogs were amazing. We also did the rope swings, baby animals,milking the cow and free pictures with the easter bunny. The tractor ride was an added bonus. Purina farms is really pretty and a very nice complex. We had a blast

We really enjoyed the dog show. The barn full of farm animals was super cool for the family. And the dog show was amazing.I highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed this place, Seeing all the animals was a fun thing. Loved the springtime village. The baby animals were fun to play with. All the staff working were very nice and friendly. Will come back next time we are in the area.

PURINA offers a relaxing day adventure for everyone. They have a collection of farm animals that you can see and pet up close. The dog show runs several times per day. This place I found randomly online. It is a great place for kids or adults. There is a farm area where you can pet animals like pigs and rabbits. And you can milk an actual cow.
