A nice surprise for an older home and memories. I grew up on a river in California and it reminded me of my adventure as a child. The old house was like my grandmother's, especially the kitchen with the cook'n tools.

Love Mark Twain! What a fantastic character. We visited his Hartford Connecticut home 2 years ago & now enjoyed his boyhood life & journey on the Mississippi. The video is long but so interesting. What an amazing life growing up in Hannibal!!

Brings back all the fond memories of our childhood fascination about Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. All the structures related to Mark Twain developing years in Hannibal are well preserved and interestingly presented. A must visit for fans of Mark Twain.

A reconstruction of the modest house. Makes you appreciate the humble beginnings of a writer who endeared himself to so many people.

The museum was very intimate yet encompassed his entire life. My sisters and I learned quite a bit about Twain that we never knew. This is an "at your own pace" tour which is nice. They have video playing so you can sit a watch...More

This museum was very carefully constructed and detailed. We enjoyed the exhibits, especially seeing the original Norman Rockwell paintings.
