The Rockcliffe Mansion tour was one of the highlights of our weekend in Hannibal! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the home and family, and provided a complete picture of what the house would have been like during it's prime. One of the most interesting parts of the tour was comparing the rooms and furnishings to... More

This was like taking a step back in time. So many of the items are either original to the house or period pieces that you could get a feel for what life might have been like to live in this home during the period. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour extremely enjoyable. Would recommend this stop to... More

My daughter and I toured the mansion in Setember, and had Warren as a tour guide. He did an amazing job telling the story of the mansion and the people who built it and occupied it. We were there on a Saturday afternoon, and Warren very professionally welcomed additional people on the tour as it was in progress. What started... More

We enjoy visiting old homes so we decided to tour Rockcliffe Mansion while in Hannibal. The tour was wonderful. Our guide, Becky, was friendly and knowledgeable. She allowed us to pause and look around and ask questions as we went through the mansion. The architectural details and furnishings were incredible. A definite must see while in Hannibal!

There were only 4 of us on this tour. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the house/ furnishings and the family that owned it. Since the home was vacant for about 43 years there were items that were not original to the home and some damage to different rooms. However the inside of the home was beautiful from... More

I visited the Rockcliffe Mansion on 9/23/2016 and was so pleased to have made the decision to tour the elegant mansion on the cliff! It was utterly fascinating, beautiful and an hour long tour was not NEAR ENOUGH for me! I could have sat in the parlor all day listening to the stories of the family and admiring all or... More

This home has some of the oldest woodwork and furniture that I have seen in years this home was supposed to be torn down in 1967. If you are into history don't miss this place. Beck did a great job on our tour

I can only echo what other glowing reviews have said. The house is fabulous and the history of it and the family/possessions were very well presented by our guide Warren. We had joined the tour about 5 min. after it started, as did another couple. He very kindly offered to start the tour over from the beginning after the tour... More

We loved this old house and were impressed with the information that Becky was able to share with us. We were amazed at the features of the home that we thought were only available in more modern homes. We wish the best of luck with the continued restoration of this mansion.
