Erected on the border between France and Provence. Opposite castle Beaucaire. Nice visit at 9.30 in a completely deserted complex. Understand that a building of such magnitude is suitable for art exhibitions. Unfortunately, the quality of Pascal Monteil's art is not high enough to compete...More

The "Chateau" is a castle in every sense of the word. Massive in size, but still very approachable, it is a very interesting place. No furnishings to give you a sence of the people who lived here, or how it may have been decorated, but...More

It is not hard to believe that when King Louis' Queen saw the castle back in the 1400's she wisely opted for a return to her comfortable two-up, two down with hot and cold running servants and left the winding staircases and rabbit warren of...More

We are two sexagenarian couples who travel Europe extensively. The visit to the Chateau de Tarascon was fun and informative. The Chateau is in excellent repair and the views from the top are wonderful. Well worth the visit.
