Another little shop that we walked into twice and bought stuff, nothing like the friendly service from the lady who recommended everything and was happy to let us try a few things. I bought some of the bush dust and several sauces that I hadn't seen anywhere else before. The range of alcohol was huge, reasonable prices, small selection of... More

As you now we only have a little shop and at times we wish we had three times the space we have to stock more of Tasmania's wonderful products. We hope you enjoyed... More

Julie's shop is great! The store stocks a trove of local produce but I think the highlight is the shelf of Tassie gins - 13 on the shelf today. This is great if you don't have the time to drive around to the 7 distilleries around the island. Knowledgeable and friendly, this was a great little shop!

Although she's only there on Saturdays this time of year, Ziek was a great host. The whisky tasting is a very reasonable cost and the range the most extensive I've seen so far in Tasmania. We stuck to Whiskey for the hour or so we were there, but they have wine and other tasting as well. Ziek had an impressive knowledge... More

We went back a second time as this store seemed to have the best selection in Richmond, the owners were also pleasant to talk to.

the lady was very nice, and she has nice wares. Tasting is a bit hard though, so you just have to trust her on the quality of the cheeses. Which you can.

She is lovely, welcoming and well worth taking the time to do some spending and tasting in her cute as a button shop. Not only is the wine worth tasting they have a great selection of platters to share for lunch. We had a duck platter consisting of smoked duck breast which was flavoursome, duck liver pate, we didn't leave any, spiced green gauge plums and nashi pair and also a lovely relish. It all came with bread. The view over the distant... More
