Spent a half day visiting the zoo. Do come by 11am or 2pm so that you can follow th3 feeding and also end off with a safari bus ride with a hilarious and funny zoo keeper who will really get the animal up close and personal with you. Unfortunate thing is that the zoo is quite old and needs more... More

This location opens at 9 AM .... go early ..... then take the tour at 10:30 .... when you go early, the animals are waking up and there are not a lot of people crowed around them. You can get wonderful photos in the early AM. Especially of the three Lions; Fantastic !!! My family spent 4 hours here, and... More

Disappointed from the beginning. Missed the Lion feeding show by 15 mins but was told abruptly to just go around the corner and catch up at the reptiles show (a python and a monitor is all they showed) When we asked for a map was told "you don't need one, everything is very easy to find". No family ticket price... More

This place seems to be a mixture of a petting zoo, safari and a regular zoo. Upon entering Zoodoo, there is a petting area with a couple of pigs and many rabbits. We didn't go into the enclosure to pet the animals as no one told us we could go in until when we were leaving and noticed people in... More

This had to be one of the best zoos we have ever visited. We are Melbourne Zoo members, so visit there and Werribee Zoo all the time, but where this zoo had the edge was the ability to get up close and personal with the animals. We got to feed and pat Emus, Zebras and Camels all as part of... More

We had a family trip to Tasmania for 5 nights. Found this little gem and had a fantastic time! The animals were amazing and we purchased the photo pack for the kids. Excellent value and it got the kids up close to a range of animals.

My friend and I did the Animal Encounter Package. Kara was our guide and she was friendly, informative and accommodating. We sat in with the meerkats where we were able to feed and pat them as they literally walked all over us. Then we went to the marmoset monkeys who just loved jumping on us and looking at their reflections... More

Zoo looks run down and poorly maintained. I'm not sure what the hype is about, seeing as there are far better wildlife parks in Australia. The animals seemed pretty unhappy, either pacing non-stop in their cages or being attacked/bitten by other animals.

My 2 year old son loved the animals and that he could feed them himself. I think the enclosures could be a little bigger for some of the animals however I think it's great there are breeding programs in place here to help save species from extinction. Staff were very knowledgeable and friendly.

We came here as we are both animals lovers and were amazed at the interaction you could have with the animals. It was such a fun day and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves (probably more than kids would have) It's great for any person of any age. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the animals were so intriguing. We will definitely go back... More
