Our 10 year old son as well my husband and I really enjoyed this. It was entertaining and educational. We will go back!!

I love unique experiences and the history behind the steamboats was very interesting to me. Glad they kept what they found and created a museum instead of selling off all the items. Well worth a visit.

The museum is vey nice, informative and the displays are very interesting. The only down side, is getting here and parking. This museum is right next to the Saturday Farmers Market, and I recommend that you see the market if you want fresh vegetables.

I would highly recommend a visit to Arabia Steamboat Museum. A fascinating glimpse into pre-civil war society as well as a wonderful tale of its retrieval. I would allow 1 1/2-2 hours to see. Younger children might not enjoy. My teenager was minimally amused but...More
