This is a wonderful place for families. Kids learn so much while having fun and they are moving around while doing it. They have a great gift store with wonderful educational gifts!!

We read a few reviews beforehand that mentioned it was fun even for adults, so we (both in our 20s) went in expecting something like the all-ages Science Museum of MN and quickly found out it is really geared only towards kids. It looks like an awesome, super fun museum if you are under 13 or have a kid in... More

This is a great place. Just visited today. Younger Children small to about 11 will really enjoy this. A great way to spend a day with the kids. My husband and I really enjoyed watching the young families there with their children and touring the area in Union Station. :)

I've gone here on several field trips with my kids, and also taken them on my own. There's always something for every age to do there. All the different areas you can learn things on, though the 3D printing lab was closed when we went this last time. It's a fun time.

We took my husband's visiting teenage daughters here one afternoon, got coffee and just wandered around for an hour or so. Since I'm from KC, I had been here before, but did not realize that there is a free train exhibit that is always open. We spent most of our time there, marveling at all the elaborate set ups and... Even if you don't "like" science, if you just open your mind there are plenty of activities to experience. Kids, adults, learning and experiencing, enjoying. Very pleasantly surprised!
