Went to the museum on a Friday when it was open. Nice little collection of objects related to commercial airlines, especially TWA. Enjoyed walking through the Martin 404 and the Lockheed constellation. Shows you how air travel has changed greatly in the past 60 years

A wonderful history of air lines. So educational and fun at the same time. They are closed on Mondays. There is a small admission charge.

Really enjoyed our time there. Seeing the engine cut a ways and old time interiors was interesting. Stories of how the equipment was found and then donated added to the experience. .

I happened to see this museum while driving from MCI to the plaza. I usually try to see if there are any aviation museums before I visit a new city, but I forgot to check before going to Kansas City. I'm glad I happened to...More

I took my granddaughters to the airline museum in March 2017. It took about 1 1/2 hours to view. I personally would not recommend this activity for young children. You are corralled into a small group with a tour guide (who is quite knowledgable) that...More

Some great history here, the Constellation is a neat plane with cool history and ties to Howard Hughes of course. Really cool look back to what flying was like before everything was hidden behind plastic panels too. And I've never seen it crowded. The vintage...More
