The city market is a nice open air market to pick up some fresh produce, bulk spices, baked goods, homemade products, or grab a bite to eat. The (free) streetcar stop is nearby and makes getting around without a vehicle, a tad easier.

Go hungry because there are so many different food and drink places, lots of different International places. Spice markets were someof our favorites.

great environment. something for everyone..wide variety of good, food, clothes form a wide variety of "mom and pop" merchants from great coffee, wonderful selections of wine,fresh produce with welcoming owners .staff (other than the international market) ..not to be missed especially sat mornings

It is open during the week, but there are temporary vendors on the weekend,i.e. like flea markets. But I've always enjoyed it anytime go

Farmers market is wed nights and sat sun only. Several restaurants open daily though. And steamboat museum and shops open daily except holidays.
