The Play was wonderful, however I used the Ladies Restrooms and the doors did not have locks. The fact that the bathrooms are downstairs makes it very difficult for a disabled person to get to. For the amount of money we paid for the tickets,...More

This was our first ever visit to The Music Hall. We went to see The Lion King. Regardless of the performance, it would be hard to enjoy due to small-uncomfortable seats, inadequate restroom facilities, too many stairs and insufficient event parking. We arrived 1-hour early,...More

It has been a few years since we have been there and what a treat. The sound is wonderful, seats comfortable and easy access. The down side is long lines for bathrooms and refreshments. It is an old building so limited, but too beautiful to...More

For a Midwesterner who loves Broadway, I depend on tours of Broadway shows to get my fill, and the Music Hall always has great Broadway productions coming in.

My wife and I saw Evanescence here on 12/11/2017. Other than issues with the staff seating late comers in the wrong places, we enjoyed ourselves very much. The acoustics sounded great with the orchestra. As others have noted it does appear that the music hall...More

The music hall has been a KCMO staple for many years, but it is in need of repairs. I do not suggest sitting in the upper balconies. The sound of the fans on the lights is loud. The ceiling has leaks and pieces are falling...More

I haven't had any issues bringing one in. Depending on the show they may not let you take photos inside the hall though.
