Not what it used to be

We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. There was not another soul around. It was open, but there was no AC on. The tasting room was hot and it smelled very musty. I cannot imagine that the wine being stored there could be any good. We opted to leave without tasting.

We stopped by to grab a glass of wine on our way to a local B&B. The wine was nice and the place was pleasantly surprising. It was clean and plenty of places to set and enjoy the vino. The turn off the highway is barely visible... we missed it and had to double back.

I have been to four weddings here in the past and now I'm a regular! BEAUTIFUL venue with an extremely friendly, professional staff! Excellent tasting wine, a great beer selection, and unbeatable prices. The place is always spotless and the staff is always ready to bend over backwards to satisfy you as a customer. There is NO more relaxing place... More

We had my brothers wedding here on 9-13-14. First of all, the staff was all very rude, including the owner Kelly. Also, there was a dog running around during the ceremony, all over the brides dress, and through the crowd. We were under the impression we had the whole place to ourselves only to find out there was a drunken... More

Never go to this "vineyard"!! My friend chose this venue for her wedding. The owner Kelly, is rude and sneaky. Her children are worse. The owner double booked her place, so while the wedding was going on, a belligerent birthday party was also going on. Wedding Guests were verbally assaulted by the birthday party, and then the bridal party found... More

Last year we tried to do a "wine tour" on Tuesday before I had to go back to work on Wednesday, but we found out the Missouri vineyards are closed on Tuesday. Then almost every time we drove by, we were either in a hurry or had our children with us. This was a spur of a moment visit, and... More

Montserrat Vineyards is a great place to hang out with friends or even as a couple. They have an excellent choice of wines to taste, all a product of the vineyards that surround you. Once you have decided on a wine, you may purchase small food trays with cheese, meats, fruit, and bread, and pick a shady spot to relax... More

We were staying in Knob Noster and stopped by this winery. There were a few reasons we came here - close by, we love wine, there is a geocache and to get another stamp in our Missouri wine passport. We accomplished all of our tasks! Scotty was great and helpful both in the wine tasting and helping find the 'lost'... More
