if you made it to Colombia visit this place. unfortunately, it is not open the whole year. you need to visit it between June - December. get the proper clothes and be prepared to get some bites.

All logistics are well done, just make sure you book with top Agencies like "Ecoturismo Macarena" and you will be fine, they have rules for visitors like Sunscreen use is not allowed.

no you can only travel with a government approved guide. there is no chance you will be able to travel through area alone.
