Went here on the recommendation of the guide at Bridal Cave. Great way to spend a short time learning about the dam. Also the lodge was built elsewhere and then disassembled and reassembled here in MO. Very cool. A lot of history in a cool setting. About 1/2 hour visit.

The Willmore Lodge is a Welcome Center, Museum and Information Center. The volunteers are there to answer all your questions and are very helpful. The lodge takes you back in time when the lake was created by the Bagnell Dam. Worthwhile to visit and see how this wonderful area came to be. Check website for times. It's not always open... More

Don't really get to tour the building, but they do have an excellent little museum that chronicles the story of the Bagnell Dam. Worth the time to visit ti find out what it took to build the dam/

Awesome view of the lake from an old lodge. Kids and adults learn how a dam creates electricity from water

We re-visit the lodge ever few years just to refresh our memory of the unbelievable story of the making of the dam and to view the beautiful view of the lake. It is truly worth your time!

We are just a little bit prejudiced by anything rustic or log-style, but this place is fantastic. It doesn't take long to go through the building and museum but the architecture and the view of the lake are phenomenal and well worth the stop. The lodge was taken down piece by piece from where it was first built in Oregon... More

What a hidden gem. You pass the Willmore Lodge when you cross over the dam and many times I just passed it right up. After a visit there, i always recommend guests to go to Willmore Lodge. The views are fantastic and the volunteers are always happy to share a bit of history about the building, previous owners, and the... More
