The valley that cradles Bennett Spring has created a place of peace and recreation that has welcomed generations of enthusiastic anglers. Bennett Spring State Park is one of Missouri’s earliest state parks and continues today to attract fishermen and nature lovers seeking to make new memories. More than 100 million gallons of clear, cool water gush from Bennett Spring each day and form a spring branch stocked daily with rainbow trout waiting for lucky fishermen. Fishing may be the main draw but the park also offers many other amenities such as a dining lodge, campgrounds, cabins and hiking trails. Whether you are a traditional fishing enthusiast or someone seeking a place to relax and refresh, Bennett Spring State Park has what you need to make every trip one to remember.

We've stayed at Bennett Springs several times.... always camping in a camper trailer. We always stay in campground #4... electric only. The full service section is a little too sterile for me... all concrete, grass and no trees. Each site has plenty of space, a...More

I've been going to Bennett Spring State Park since I was a small toddler. It is my favorite out of all the Missouri Trout Parks. The fishing has been exceptionally well this year and its conveniently located between Springfield and Lake of the Ozarks for...More

We were visiting the area on a company float trip and stopped to check out the park before heading home. The fish hatchery is very interesting, and it was a lot of fun to watch the fly fishing that was going on. Unfortunately it began...More

We spent about an hour there and enjoyed the visit. We aren't fishermen, but enjoyed the park and the information presented. Ate dinner at the lodge which was a good experience... nice and convenient. Our state parks are treasures and should be visited!

Excellent campgrounds and beautiful State Park. Camping, canoeing, trout fishing, hiking, and friendly relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at the lodge.

We fished here for three days with kids. It's a nice park with lots of easy access for picnicking and fishing.

This is a trout farm, and a place to go fly fishing. Very quiet and peaceful. Even if you don't fish, it's a peaceful setting, and a nice place to take a walk or just enjoy a leisurely afternoon and a picnic. Dog-friendly. Dogs are...More

Bennett Springs State Park is a cool and mostly quiet haven where one can have some quiet time and enjoy some beautiful scenery and classic depression-era stone construction. The fishing is enjoyable, but unless you like crowds, don't go on March 1, which is the...More

I'm not sure I can answer that accurately so you may want to call Bennett Springs directly at 800-334-6946. It is not long though and is readily accessible with motor homes and 5th wheels if that is your concern.

The river that is in Bennet Spring State Park is for fishing only. The nearby Niangua can be floated, however, and there are several camping/floating outfitters nearby. You can bring your own tube, kayak or canoe but... More

Just saw this question. Don't think you can ride an ATV in the state park but maybe places around there.
