We love the beauty and peacefulness of this park. The people at the store and who take care of the cabins are wonderful and you mean the nicest people while fishing. We stayed in one of the new spring cabins and it was great. Beautiful rooms with an amazing view of the spring. Love the hooks for waders outside and... More

Most of the physical infrastructure of Bennett Spring State Park was built of native stone during the Depression, and retains a classic, graceful feel. As the beautiful stream winds its way towards the Niangua River, it provides good, cold water habitat for trout. Yes, the conservation department stocks trout; no, it's not like shooting fish in a barrel. The park... More

Just spent two nights RV camping in the park. Campground one is open. Electric is on at sites, no water at sites but spigot by bathroom was on. One shower open ( hot water) but no heat. The bathroom right next to shower room is open with heat and hot water in sink... Was clean and stocked despite no camp... More

Beautiful park, nice trails, camping, cabins, fishing. excellent restaurant. Feels like you are a million miles away, but actually you are only a few miles from a bustling town on the interstate. Great place to get away and relax whether it be for a day or a week.

This was not my first trip to Bennett Spring State Park and it won't be my last. There is plenty to do even if you are not going there to fish. I personally love to walk around the park. The hatchery is a great learning experience for people of all ages. You can arrange educational tours of the hatchery during... More

As with any state park/hatchery in Missouri, you'll drive a long way and make several turns in the road before arriving at a typically pristine and beautiful environment. Bennett is a great place to fish but there are some other amenities to keep non-anglers amused and good eating at the lodge. Staff is also knowledgeable and helpful. Wonderful example fot... More

Bennett Springs Park and Trout Hatchery is in a easy to find, beautiful setting. Something for everyone even if you are not into fishing. You can park and hike, feed the fish or just check them out at the hatchery. Lots of wide open spaces to let kids roam. We enjoyed parking and just watching people fishing. Great for picnics.... When I was a child my parents use to come here often to trout fish and I to explore and feed fish. I brought my three kids and a grandchild here and they loved it just as much as I always did. We camped at one of the campgrounds they have. Chose a family one and it was really private... More

The park was great but Gabe Du Mont is the only rude and unprofessional park employee I have I have ever encountered in my years of using state parks across the USA. He called me a liar over and a non important issue over placement of passes. I told him I was not told where to place the passes his... More
