Odd to review cemetery, but this is quiet spot to visit Laura Ingalls Wilder' grave as well as her husband's and daughter's graves.

This was a nice, quiet cemetery where you can pay your respects to Laura Ingalls Wilder, her husband Almanzo Wilder, and their daughter Rose. It was a special stop for our family, which has enjoyed her books and recollections of prairie life. It is a...More

It was really nice to be able to pay our respects to Laura and Almanzo Wilder as well as rose. It was a good end to the day.

There are signs to find the Wilder gravesites in the large cemetery. It is in a lovely spot with a nice breeze. It would be interesting to determine when the stones were erected; Almanzo and Laura share one, and Rose's is right next to theirs...More

A very pretty cemetery. Well cared for and easy to find the Wilder graves. Just follow the sign, it's well marked.

This is a nice, well-kept old cemetery, with lots of very old graves. We visited in particular to see Laura Ingalls Wilder's grave, which is easy to find with bushes planted around it.

It was raining when we went, so it was a quick trip. The graves are marked very well. Follow the arrows and look by the bushes. The cemetery is located not far from Laura's home.

I felt very touched to see the Wilders' resting place, but it was not an obvious find. There are only moderate special markings to the site, including bushes, which helps their plot to not stand out but also makes it tricky to locate. I would...More

The cemetery is located behind a school in Mansfield. Take the second (main) entrance. The Wilder graves are on the right in a group of small shrubs. The cemetery is well maintained and easy to get to. Would recommend for anyone interested in visiting the...More
