Great place to meet locals for a chat while enjoying local coffee from Fred and some local chocolates by Debbie and Spider. Bought some local crafts from Brent (Norfolk pine utensils, chopping boards and other items). Live songs by Trent Christian - always great to listen local & relaxing tunes.

Good markets for locally made products, slightly different to the usual Yuppie markets back in Australia, so found the assortment of mostly smallish items quite interesting. Fairly small markets, but it is only a small friendly island!! Great singing entertainment by Trent Christian as well!

I think that it is very difficult to enjoy a market which appears to be rather amateurish. Perhaps for some this will be a plus, but I felt that many of the items on sale were overpriced and very old fashioned. It is a pity as there seem to be some very artistic people living here, but they are not... More

Went to the Sunday Morning markets that open at 8.30am, located near the Information Centre. A lovely selection of locally made products, fresh food, locally blended coffee, jewellery, photos, beauty products, pine woodwork and other nicnaks. A must visit for visitors to the island. We bought some beautiful prints, cookies, perfume and had the best coffee from mobile coffee van.... More

Even though a bit wet, the stall owners still did their very best to be the usual Norfolk friendly people that they are. From a lovely hot cup of Norfolk Coffee, to local cakes, chocolates, fruit & veg and local pork products, to handmade crafts, these markets had it all, in the limited area available. Found all traders, including Burnt... More

First of all these markets do have stalls selling local stuff including souvenirs made from Norfolk Island pine such as pens and doorstops to name a few. There are other general items and even foods. Whilst markets are just a gimmick and not touristy at all, I would however recommend these ones if you were interested in taking home something... More

These markets will suit the tourist. Lots of little things to buy to take home. Try a homemade cake, slice or muffin. They are all good. lovely pottery and jewellery at a good price. On every Sunday in all weather. you will see Trent Christian singing there too.

This review probably isn't complete as the Saturday markets on our trip was nearly non existent. There had been bad weather and there was a shortage of fresh fruit and vegetables on the Island. The Sunday market was much bigger with a range of wares. Quite a lot of jewelry for those so interested. I found many of the stores... More
