This Pier and surrounds are a great place to visit, we were lucky enough to be there when a ship had anchored off shore and was unloading its cargo. Amazing to watch the locals go about their work.

Was there for Bounty Day and saw all the residents in their bounty outfits children running around and having fun and also watched the goods come in from the boat as well as cars which was amazing to see.

Great if you can time your visit to coincide with the unloading of the ships. Its the only way goods come onto the island - cars, buses and ALL goods. Great to watch the 'lighters' being pulled out to the ships by the motorised boats...More
