The Norfolk Island Museum reveals to you Norfolk's amazing and multi-layered stories. Famous for its colourful history, the island was first settled by Polynesians, then in 1788 by the British who later made it a convict hellhole. Since 1856 it has been home to the descendants of the Bounty mutineers. Located in a number of heritage buildings in Kingston, our museums and research centre help you explore our turbulent past as well as today's living culture.

So much history. It is worth paying for the $25 for all Museums to see as each one tells another facet of the amazing history of Norfolk. Absolute must to do.

Not too big to take everything in and perfectly complements the other 3 museums here - they are all different and all equally excellent, each focussing on a different aspect of this island's varied history. Do them on different days to prevent brain-fade!

Great suggestion! The multiple pass for just $25 allows multiple entry into the museums and is valid for as long as you're here on holiday
