Great museum that is a must see. Many opportunities for viewing of interest by the entire family. Special events take place regularly with featured speakers.

Thank you very much for the compliments. We are very proud of our small county museum. Please visit us again. The museum reopens for the summer tour season, Wednesday-Saturday, 10am-4pm starting May 3rd.

Great info on the border ruffians, local history, and uniquely - a 1800s jail. So many interesting exhibits and very well documented and displayed.

I can't believe I've lived here for years and only just now discovered this place!!! Small fee to get in, lots of exhibits of area history. Includes short video of history of area and visit to the Jail. Some Bushwhacker items available for purchase. Very helpful and informed staff available to answer questions.
