Trees line Lovers Lane St. Jo creating an atmosphere like none other. The Eugene Field monument and its flowers are beautiful and reminiscent of his famous Lovers Lane poem. A new bench offers a peaceful resting oasis.

Perhaps just driving down a road that is called "Lover's Lane" means something for someone, sorry I am not that someone. Nothing to see...just a few older houses. Please do not waste your time.

This is an absolute beautiful area. You could stop and go for a walk or hike, but we were just passing through. The bonus for this area is there are a lot of geocaches nearby. Have fun and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

At one time, Lovers Lane was on the edge of town but not now. Eugene Field wrote a famous poem about it, but today there is only a marker and some nice homes to drive by.

Why is this recommended as an attraction. There is nothing special to see. I think that they are trying to bring $$ to the area that is actually run down.

This is such a beautiful drive. I would love to live there. The trees are in their full fall glory. Now you get to really realize why the poem was wrote. Ashland Avenue is near by and also the parkway. Put all three together and...More

By the Eugene Field Marker on Lovers Lane and the Parkway, there is green space where you could picnic with a blanket and hamper.
