This was a fun place to spend some time. It has enormous monuments and most of them are of famous people that actually started St. Joseph, MO. You could drive through town and see the huge homes and then go to the cemetery and actually see the graves of the same people.

Enjoyed an afternoon of exploring this beautiful cemetery. Be sure to see the mausoleums just to your left as you enter. A good way to see a history of an area unveiled here.

We attended the presentation of Mt. Mora Cemetery last night of "Voices of the Past"! What a wonderful evening listening to the actors relive their past experiences portraying residences of the cemetery! This was a sell out again this year! We look forward to next years performance and offer cudo's to this years performers and organizers! What a great evening!... More

Every time that I come to St Joseph, I visit this a cemetery. It is the oldest center in the city and is full of beautiful stones and marvelous crypts. It is a wonderful place to walk and reflect.

Very historical and work taking time to just wander and look around. The headstones date back before the late 1800's.

This cemetery is surprisingly beautiful. It reminds me of things we should be able to see in older cemeteries back east, not in the middle of Missouri.

This cemetery was started in 1851 and contains confederate soldiers from the Civil War, pony express riders and 20 mausoleums that were built around the turn of the century. If you like old cemeteries and the stories they tell; this is a whole set of volumes.

This cemetery has some of the best examples of Egyptian Revival funerary monuments and stones that I have ever seen. It is absolutely gorgeous and a must-see for anyone interested in Victorian funerary monuments and art. I love the way it is laid out and I plan on visiting again in the near future.

Difficult to find (gps was uncooperative) Small roads, but interesting to drive through. Mausaleum Row was pretty unique. We did not get out and walk around, but history buffs/cival war buffs will enjoy.

We drove through the cemetery and it's really an amazing place of history. The stones, monuments and mausoleums have incredible stories to share. Well worth the time.
