House is only 4 rooms. It doesn't take a long time to go thru but packed with lots of items, pictures and stories. We learned so much about the James boys and the events leading up to Jesse's death. Worth the stop!

Advertised opening hours for this museum were at nine, however when we arrived at nine we found other people also waiting to get in. We went next-door to the carousel Museum and the man called to find out when they would be open. It turns...More

It's really neat to go inside this home. If you are going to the Pattee house museum then you need to go here also. I love history so if you love history diffently try this.

The tour took less than 10 minutes and really wasn't all that (at least for me). It's 3 and a half rooms and there's the bullet hole in the wall from the shot that killed him. There's some historical info, etc., but I wouldn't pay...More

First of all, the house was moved there from its original location. Second, none of the furnishings are from the James family. Third, space is very tight, as it's a tiny house. If you have several families going through, it's a tight squeeze. There is...More

I love history and learning, so I was pleased to find that I learned something about JJ that I didn't know. I read a prophecy in the Patee House, next door, in the ballroom about how he thought he would be killed. That made it...More

Lots of great articles and artifacts from the life of Jesse James and his family. I didn't know they had exhumed his body for DNA testing. It gives a nice lil snapshot of his life. Great pictures.

This little museum is adjacent to the Patee House Museum. I highly recommend both of them. Both are filled with history. This is the house Jesse and his wife lived in at the time of his demise. There are period correct artifacts and items which...More

The house was fine, the story told inside was good. Lots of reading so more of the audio portion would have been nice.

This house is pretty cool. Lots of Mr. James memorabilia! The bullet hole now looks like a bazooka went through it, but it's cool to see all of the stuff, hear the story of how it happened and walk through the home where he lived.
