The St Louis Zoo is a wonderful and historic place. They have completed several large improvement projects and are working on still more. Great place for a wonderful walk, see the animals, and people watch!! Avoid traffic on the weekend by parking away from the zoo. The whole park is beautiful.

The St. Louis Zoo is a free zoo with the exception of a few attractions if you choose to see them. The grounds were clean and maintained. Animals looked very well taken care of. The walkways were wide and easy to maneuver in most places. We took an Uber to get there which was an easy drop off. However, being... More

Be sure to get Railroad Pass because if your over 70 its a tough walk. Parking was a problem. There is no admission to the zoo but food was a bit pricey.

Big zoo with organized structure so we don't feel walking too long though we visited many places in zoo. Nice souvenir shops.

The St. Louis Zoo is by far the best zoo that I have ever visited. It is so well maintained and there is so much to do. It is free to get in but the extras like parking, train rides, the sea lion show and the children's zoo do have a fee. The sea lion show is fun to see... More

It was a very nice day and it was a Saturday so the traffic flow was pretty bad. We figured out to venture off in Forest Park and find our own parking and walk a bit but it got us out of the traffice jam. Very nice zoo and it is FREE!!

The Saint Louis Zoo is great for all ages. It is located in the magnificent Forest Park which is a must see when visiting the city. The zoo is very well planned so that there are not long walks between exhibits. It is beautifully landscaped and there is a lot to see. And, the entrance is free of charge!

It was very entertaining and educational my kids loved it and its free. Its somewhere to spend a few hours at. The food and drink are pricey so I would eat before you go. Our favorite was the sea lions and polar bear. Staff was very helpful and informative.

One of the few remaining zoos in the US that still has free admission. It's really a world class zoo, and has a walk in bird cage from the 1904 World's Fair.

Went today with my daughter. Rainy day but still a beautiful place. The train ride is $8 but you can ride all day. You can bring food for lunch or they have several choices for eating. Can't go a season without going.
