The St. Louis Zoo is easily one of the nicest zoos I've been too! The admission is free and parking is only around $12, but there are some spots on the street. They have so many different animals, but they polar bear and penguin exhibit is one of the best! Overall, the zoo is very clean and the prices on... More

You can view 90 percent of the St. Louis Zoo for Free! The landscaping is wonderful and the indoor reptile and bird houses are phenomenal!

We visited on a rainy Saturday morning. It was great, actually. It was not crowded. It was my first time there is probably ten years and my husband and I took our 15 month old. There was a lot of walking, so be prepared for that. Everything was so pretty and many animals were out. The rain stopped and it... More

I have to say this is one of the best free Zoo's in the world! They have so many awesome exhibits and great food to top it off! In the summer they make sure their guests stay cool by providing mister fans everywhere!

This is a high quality zoo. Very clean with helpful staff. We went on a very hot day, so some of the animals were not out early in the morning. There are a lot of animals, so we definitely found plenty that were out and about. The penguin exhibit was awesome and a place to cool down. The bird house... More

Clean place. The polar bear exhibit has been remodeled, and looks really nice. At this time they are remodeling part of the zoo, but it doesn't really interfere with swing the zoo. The zoo pass in my opinion is a good deal. I heard on some days the children's museum is free for the first hour the zoo is open.

$15 to park with free admission. Great selection of animals and exhibits with a well laid out design. Was quite warm when we visited but plenty of shade and misters to cool off. Concessions were also reasonably priced.

Pros: Extensive variety of animals which is great Parking in lot is easy and convenient Puffin house Sea Lion feeding Cons: Don't park in Forest Park unless you put everything in the truck. One polar bear for a huge exhibit very disappointing. Food and drinks overpriced Photo booth way way overpriced - I wanted a single pic and they want... More

I love this zoo. I grew up in Saint Louis not appreciating how lucky I was to have access to this zoo. In college I completed a Behavior Internship with them and got to learn even more. The Saint Louis Zoo truly tries their best to provide good welfare for the animals. The enclosures are well designed and they are... More

If you are a fan of zoos this one is great. You can't really beat it since it's free. They had lots of animals in natural like settings and it is a very large zoo. If you want to enjoy any shows such as the Sea Lion show you will have to pay extra for a ticket. We watched the... More
