Don't take the name so literally. We're about fun. Not your white walls, walk around, and be quiet museum. If you want to climb around, get active with your kids or are a big kid at heart, we're the place. If you get freaked out easily, you might not want to come. We're four floors filled with miles of tunnels, a full cave system, over 30 slides, a circus, an arts area, a large outdoor climbing space, Architectural Museum, a Cabin that serves adult beverages, a Museum of Mayhem, Mirth and Mystery, and a ton more. Also, there's the roof with a Ferris Wheel and a bus hanging off its edge.

This museum is so engaging. I visited with my friends, and we ranged in age from 20-45, and all of us had an amazing time. Tunnels, caves, muti-story slides, mirrors and lights, this place is incredible. My only regret is that I didn't have more time-- and kneepads! There is both an indoor section and an outdoor section. If you... More

One of my favorite places to visit in St. Louis! Great for parties and for family get togethers. Gets children up and out of the house~!

We split up into two groups. One group took the toddler to the toddler room. The other group went with the older children. Take snacks and drinks with you in a backpack. Toddler room is a great place for the grandmas and grandpas to go with the little ones while mom and dad climb. Communicate with each other.via text

You will crawl, jump, balance, fly in this interactive museum suitable for children aged three and up. Teens would love it! The graphics are quirky, the recycled flavor is fascinating, and the staff are super friendly. Don't miss this!

We had a large family group in town for a wedding and had time to visit the museum. Everyone agreed that it was a spectacular place. It was great for kids and adults with a great variety of activities.

This museum draws in exceptional talent and art pieces. We always enjoy the many exhibits that change regularly to keep more variety. We love seeing many of the same pieces that are classics however. This museum has beautiful artwork from many time periods. There's also a gift shop with items that kids love.

I took my 16 year old and 2 friends for an evening out. I thought 5pm to midnight would they would make it through the museum, but they didn't. They would have so much fun doing one area that they kept playing in that area over and over. We will have to go again to experience more of this wonderful... More

We needed something to do to fill sometime and the was the best decision we made! 2 (12yr olds) spent 3 hrs straight "playing" and exploring and having a blast! I was worried they would be to old, but absolutely not!! They had a blast and can't wait to go again with more friends!

It's not just the kids that can have fun in this maze of a museum, the adults will find lots to look at and climb as well. Camp fire, art, fun exhibits everywhere. I haven't ever been to a place quite like this. A MUST see when visiting Saint Louis.

You do not want to miss this attraction while in Saint Louis. You'll have so much fun exploring tunnels, finding hidden passage ways, great problem solving opportunities for the whole family. We as parents had a blast, as well as our 7 year old daughter. There are portions that are indoor and some outdoor. Would be great for rain or... More
