We love visiting Forest Park for so many reasons. Our kids have enjoyed the paddle boats, we enjoy the museums immensely, and the Zoo is top notch. The park is of course great to simply enjoy a long walk or a picnic. There are beautiful water features in various places. A trolley connects Forest Park to the Saint Louis Science... More

The park is large and spacious with lots of trails and open spaces. There are two excellent museums and a "free" world class zoo. Several free open-air events & concerts are held outside in nice weather. You can get a sandwich at the boathouse and rent a boat for the small lake. The Muny Theater is live with musicals in... This park is larger than NYC's Central Park and much smaller than Phoenix's South Mountain Park, but it has a lot of things to do in it. Many that are free! Several museums and the Saint Louis Zoo are free. We spent an hour or so, just driving all over the park and observing all the things that are there.... More

It may take several visits to tour this lovely big park located in the downtown of St Louis. We had a chance to visit Art museum, zoo, history museum and science center. To our surprise, they are free to public. Enjoyed the color of the trees and serene environment where one can spend all day and find something different to... More

Ice skating, golf course, great for running and walks. Not as big as Central Park, NY, but more manageable.

This park seems to have it all; miles of trails for biking and walking, first class museums, golf, handball, archery... The list goes on. Everything we did or saw seemed to be in great shape. Parking is plentiful and free. While visiting for a week in the Central West End neighborhood, we took advantage of the park's proximity every day... More

Home to some of the FREE museums and the FREE award winning zoo. Free parking, acres galore, trails, sports fields, water activities and picnicking spots. STLMO is fortunate to have such a beautiful outdoor space for their citizens and visitors.

Major site of the 1904 World's Fair now the home of Missouri History Museum, Zoo, Municipal Opera, Art Museum, Shakespeare In The Park, sports fields and much more. Major improvements through the efforts of Forest Park Forever. Great place for many events, picnicing, or just hanging out with family and friends.
