I must admit, I really did ask the guard where I could buy stamps. He laughed and told me I made his day. I did learn that this was once the location of the Public Library. Great history and a remarkable renovation to restore the building. The guard was very knowledgeable.

Next to our hotel and it is eye catching. So I decided to check on it. Inside has marble floor and high ceiling. Those crown molding is very pretty.

love visiting old buildings. the outside was very unique, the floors of the inside were cool too with old tiles. Part of the inside now is a library and there is a museum also. I didn't make it in there. Worth a look while in the area.

This is a beautiful building inside and out. Renovated for some private use, they managed to preserve the unique beauty and state of the art (for the time) design. Absolutely beautiful and the original sculpture (uncertain of the name but it was something like America at peace and in war) that was installed on the roof now resides inside the... More

I used The Old Post Office for a work event in St. Louis 5/31/15. I was working from Seattle to set it all up sight unseen. Their event coordinator (yes you Candice!) and staff were extremely helpful and couldn't have been nicer! It's a truly lovely building with the original iron work, post boxes and museum. I would recommend a... More

On New Year's Eve, my wife and I got married in the Old Post Office and could not imagine a better place to be married. The building is beautifully restored and features some of the best architecture in St. Louis. Stop by the library location in the Post Office to get a little glimpse of this incredible place.
