The Fabulous Fox Theatre first opened in 1929 as a movie palace in William Fox's motion picture empire. The theatre was reopened in 1982, and today it is one of the most exquisite venues in the country to enjoy live touring Broadway shows, concerts, and comedians. We hope you'll visit us for an upcoming show or one of our guided tours!

We attended a matinee of Disney's The Lion King at this theatre, and were charmed by the outside façade. It looked like one of those grand theatres from the Golden Age. I thought it had probably been modernized and refurbished on the inside but I...More

The Fox Theatre in St Louis truly is fabulous! Classically beautiful and majestic in every part of this building. Even the drinking fountains were magnificent! We went to see a Broadway play here and everything about it was phenomenal. After the play we walked around...More

Great theater for Broadway type shows. The theater is decorated with beautiful architecture that is not seen in new buildings anymore. Amazing that this type of detail was done in the past.

We love to see shows at the Fox! It is such a grand and elegant venue. We recently went to see Dirty Dancing. They always have such great shows.

Attended Rent last night. The show was great. The sound system was a little lacking. This shows limits use if the stage, causing those sitting far left or right limited viewing. Fortunately our seats had adequate viewing of the stage.

The first time we went to the Fox Theater we were amazed at the wood , celings, decorations, you can go up stairs and see the hall of fame. I love the seating! There is not a bad seat in the house.

This is a fully restored theatre in the Siamese-Byzantine style that you have to see to believe. We went on a Saturday morning for the $10 10:30 AM tour and were treated to a demonstration of one of two Wurlitzer organs played by one of...More

We want to get tickets to the FOX but my sister is a very large lady. Are the seats comfortable for larger women?

I think if someone is over 300 pounds, they would be uncomfortable. However, there are areas in the balcony seated at tables and other special seating available that might be a bit more comfortable.

I want to take my grandkids to Lion King as I saw it in New York and was incredible. I have a 9 and 2- four year olds. Are they too young. Also I know to sit in the center sections but could you name some. With their parents we may have up to 6. Thank you so much as I can't wait to order! Debbie Rice 573-356-6600

No. The mezzanine seats are a little lower and in front of the balcony seats.
