This was our first time at this museum. There was so much to see and the tour guide (Tom) was super informative. He let us touch some of the artifacts and we could even go inside of the planes, helicopter, and Jeep’s. And we got to type on the old typewriters. We spent a couple of hours here. Front of place looks small but it’s not. It quite big inside. Highly recommend.

An amazing collection packed into a small space. The staff are very friendly and it's obvious how much they enjoy their work. I highly recommend a visit. You will leave with a greater appreciation of our men and women in the services.

Nice collection of personal affects, histories, equipment, and machinery. WW1- Iraqi Freedom are represented. Geared towards local veterans. Dog friendly for behaved and gentle canines. We spent between 60 and 90 minutes. 16 minutes outside of Fayetteville.

Awesome experience. My son is currently serving and is now on his 7th year and I served also. Both of us Air Force. We really enjoyed the hands on displays as well as the others. There were many children the day we went and all seemed to really enjoy everything. Museum could sure use your donation on the way out as well. Great place to meet other Vets and exchange stories.

Thank you for your kind words - thank you for your son's and your service! We try very hard to keep the Museum going and keep the history alive. Please spread the word and it was very kind of you stating about the donation on the way out. We truly need supporters. Please come back again.

Stopped here because we saw it in our Route 66 Tour Book. It was amazing to see such a collection of medals, uniforms, memorabilia and military equipment. The helicopters, jeeps, plane, rockets and oh so much to see and read. Our visit was made even better by the very personal attention we received from several veteran volunteers. Very well worth the visit and at a very reasonable admission price. So much to see and hear. A must see for all ages.

Almost too much to see, already planning a trip back. Very knowledgeable staff (all volunteers) who seem to enjoy showing off the items as much as did in seeing them. Excellent collection of electronic equipment, uniforms and models of every type. The Cobra and T-33 are not to be missed.

I read about this museum in the Springfield Magazine in my hotel room. I'm a huge fan of military memorabilia. There was a pretty good amount of things to see, fairly well arranged. I actually drove past this place several times before I realized it's in a stripe mall. Nice time, I recommend it.

Thank you for the review, sorry you drove past it - we painted the roof so it would stand out. SO glad we finally got into the local magazine and you read it. Please come back again, we are all volunteers and work hard to raise money and keep this place going. You are welcomed back any time. THANK YOU.

Don't let the looks of this place discourage you. It is in a strip mall and not impressive at all on the outside. On the inside, however, it is excellent with lots to look at. The volunteers are very knowledgeable and friendly. They have some pretty cool exhibits including pieces of a plane that crashed in France in WWII and wasn't recovered until 40+ years later. The pilot was a local. We enjoyed this visit.

Thank you for coming to the Museum - we are working on the outside of the building and realize it is NOT the best looking. We are run by volunteers and money from admissions and donations. At times it is very hard. We truly hope you enjoyed your visit and viewing the history we have in our Museum. THANK YOU AGAIN.

Great place to take the kids or grandkids ~ hands on history ~ wonderful place to learn about the great sacrifices made for our freedom. Don’t be fooled by the “store front facing” - this place is huge and amazing!

I agree with the previous reviews, this place is a gem and is probably overlooked because of the street view. The volunteers are very knowledgeable and friendly. There is quite a bit to see and great personal stories. It is a shame more people don't visit.
